After graduating from Leicester University in 1995, I completed a PhD in Chemistry at Birkbeck College, University of London, where I then managed a laboratory for several years.
I moved into financial planning after receiving poor mortgage advice myself and hearing similar stories from friends and family. I resolved that I could use my problem-solving and analytical experience in an industry that needed principled advisers more than it needed salespeople.
After 9 years as an independent financial adviser, Eaton Wealth Management was established in December 2013, when I accepted an invitation to join St. James's Place.
Fundamentally, I see my approach as one of problem-solving for the client rather than product-selling. This, along with the pride and dedication that I place on developing solid personal relationships with my clients, ensures that am I able to offer a rounded, professional and principled service.
Away from work I have a passion for sport with a new-found love of running, in addition to my life-long love of rugby and cricket. I now use the experience I have gained over decades of playing to coach the next generation of cricketers and rugby players.
